Mecateamcluster® is a not-for-profit organization recognized to be in the national interest as part of the Grappes d’Entreprises call for projects, and as such it receives an operating subsidy from DATAR (the State, see above).
In addition to these resources generated by the call for projects, Mecateamcluster® gets support from Europe (ERDF: the European Regional Development Fund), from the Burgundy Regional Council and from the Creusot-Montceau Urban Community (grouping of town halls) (South Burgundy).
Finally, firms must pay a contribution as members, in order to be able to take part in and have the benefit of the joint activities carried out by its various committees.
Mecateamcluster® also works in close collaboration with the Creusot-Montceau Development agency with the aim of pooling technical teams, and this work underpins a genuine partnership between the Creusot-Montceau area and member firms.
Each year Mecateamcluster® has a budget of approximately €250,000 to run the members’ network, to carry out the work of its committees, to recruit experts and to support the joint activities of its members.
